We have weathered dramatic events in the real estate market in the past such as hurricanes and flooding in the Myrtle Beach area, each time we have weathered the storm. The Coronavirus is unlike any other market disruption we have ever faced and is a world wide event not just a local disaster.  We have had lots of questions about how the Coronavirus is affecting the area and we want to try to address them the best we can, but keep in mind there are changes taking place daily and we will do our best to keep you updated.  You can rest assured that in this unprecedented time in the history of our country, our Agents are here for you on a personal level.  Our Agents are Professional Real Estate Agents but they are also Mom's, Dad's, husbands and wives who have loving hearts, and will be there for you in this time of need.

First, know that The Trembley's Group top priority is the safety of our clients and team members. We are working diligently to stay informed and follow the latest Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization recommendations.

We don’t yet know how long it will take to restore normal public health and return to everyday living. But we will get there by working together. And we will come out stronger.

We are monitoring the situaiton daily and keeping in close contact with local lenders and attorneys to keep you informed of any changes in regard to the market.

Here’s what we do know:

  • Business is still being conducted.

  • Processes have been altered slightly to keep everyone safe.

  • We are practicing social distancing for the health and safety of our Buyers and Sellers.

  • Mortgage interest rates are at near historic lows and may go even lower.

  • Historically, real estate is still a good long-term investment.

  • Buying a house is not just an investment. It’s your home.

Thoughts for buyers:

  • We are still conducting in-person showings for locals, however we can also facilitate virtual showings if you are out-of-state or want to be safe.

  • Talk to a local lender and get pre-approved so you know your purchasing power.

Thoughts for sellers:

  • You may be approached by bargain hunters. Remember, serious buyers are still shopping for homes.

  • It may take longer to sell your home as we make logistical changes to safeguard home showings.

  • Expect some “Wait and Sees.”

Thoughts for everyone:

Remember your home is your sanctuary, a place of safety and peace while we live with less contact with the rest of the world.  Cherish this time you have with your family and use it to make lasting memories.

We are here to help and listen. Call us at 843.945.1880 or email connect@thetrembleygroup.com with any questions or concerns. We’ll always tell you the truth, and we won’t pretend to know what we don’t know.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you work to protect your loved ones, neighbors, and friends.

If you have a closing scheduled, it’s going to happen. Things can change, but, if the present conditions hold, closings will proceed as normal in Horry County.  Watch video for more information
