Have you dreamed of living in Market Common?  Now is your chance!

The owners of this elegant home, Cathy and Bruce, are thrilled to share their favorite things about 1425 Beaumont Way and living in this neighborhood. Cathy and Bruce express, “This home is very peaceful. It’s not too close to the neighbors, which is unusual for Market Common, and the lot has extra wide space. The postion of the home is to the east, which is absolutely lovely. We don’t really want to move, however for personal reasons, it’s time to purchase something smaller and enter the next chapter of our lives.”

Cathy & Bruce’s 5 Favorite Things:

1. The Front Porch

“The front porch is one of my two favorite things right off the top that I love about this home. Our next favorite thing is #2! It’s very peaceful to sit in the in the warm morning sun, sipping coffee and watching bikes go by on the bike path across the street. We placed two rocking chairs on the front porch for a true South Carolinian experience, so we can just rock and watch the world go by.”

2. The Back Linai

“Gosh, we sit outside pretty much every night for dinner in the warmer weather”, Cathy gushes. “Even when it’s hot outside. With the backyard east facing, we are not sitting in the hot western sun. The open covered area is perfect with a garden view, bird house and bird feeder. The birds grace our backyard on a regular basis and we receive so much pleasure from watching and listening to them. Bluebirds, hummingbirds .. they are a wonder to watch. As well, the brick extension adds extra privacy to the backyard. A nice added plus to the layout of the backyard space.”

3. The Position of the Home

"We really love how the house sits on the lot. It's not too close to the neighbors and there's extra wide space. The position of the house is to the east which means we can sit out front in the morning for our cup of java and out back in the evening for dinner. It's the perfect balance and the best of both worlds," Bruce explains.

4. The Den

“Inside the house,” Cathy furthers, “the den is my favorite room. I love to sit and read in the early morning light. The sun streams through the window and the glow is sweet and peaceful.”

5. Living Within Walking Distance of Market Common

“This neighborhood is amazing. It’s so easy to get out and walk around Market Common. One of my favorite things to do. The lighting is beautiful, especially in the evening. We are close to the park, the bank, shopping, restaurants … everything is so handy,” Cathy adds.
